Elderwood Cradle
What is an Elderwood cradle?
While trying to come up with a name for my domain and commissions company, I decided to flip through Brian Froud's book, Faeries. A section about the magical properties of trees caught my eye, especially the legend of the Elderwood cradle. If you place a baby in a cradle made of Elderwood, then the tree's spirits will come and pinch the baby till it's black and blue. The two words caught my eye; I couldn't resist.
